Nicolas Giuseppone is a Professor at the University of Strasbourg and heads the Molecular and Supramolecular Self-Assembly research group at the Charles Sadron Institute.
His research uses supramolecular chemistry and molecular motors to design new non-equilibrium active systems and smart materials capable of interacting with their environment.
The DCO Prize is awarded annually by nomination to a chemist who has carried out internationally recognized research.
